Partnerships
Western Knowledge considers collaborations that support thoughtful work about western landscapes without blurring the line between editorial explanation and commercial material.
Suitable collaborations
We consider clearly scoped educational projects, image or map features, and partner placements relevant to landscape, place and land-use topics. A proposal should identify the intended audience, format, partner and any requested editorial role.
Editorial boundaries
Partners may not determine independent editorial conclusions or present a commercial message as an unmarked editorial article. We reserve the right to decline work that is misleading, outside the publication's subject or incompatible with reader trust.
How material is labelled
Partner-created or partner-supported material is labelled in plain language near its presentation. Partner placements across the publication are also identified as such; a label does not imply editorial endorsement.
Make contact
Use the Contact page and choose the partnership option. Describe the proposed collaboration and the material or placement being considered; no organizational details or arrangement should be assumed in advance.
